Primetime entertainment in the Dog House; Nine takes Thursday
Dog House on Ten won primetime entertainment on Thursday, however, it was Nine which celebrated an overall network share win.
The episode aired to 438,000 people in all five major capital cities, and #1 entertainment show in the 25 to 54s.
In overall entertainment, The Chase Australia came in the first spot with 530,000 metro viewers, followed by Home and Away on Seven which had 419,000 metro viewers.
In the latest Daily Consolidated Total TV Report for 4 August, Seven News topped the list with 1.433 million Total TV viewers, including 38,000 viewers on BVOD with an uplift of 3%. The program with the highest uplift was The Dog House on Ten, with an uplift of 13%, viewed by a total of 569,000 national viewers, and 24,000 on BVOD.
Overall, Seven News topped programming with 870,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 853,000 metro viewers. Nine News at 6:30 was next with 785,000 metro viewers, then Nine News with 773,000 metro viewers. A Current Affair brought in 584,000 metro viewers, followed by ABC News which brought in 578,000. ABC’s 7:30 followed with 413,000 metro viewers.
As mentioned, Nine won the overall share for the evening with 28.6%, followed by Seven with 27.7%. Next was Ten, with 17.9% of the total share, and ABC finished up with a 16.9% share.
