Red blooded media planning

If Meat & Livestock Australia’s marketing director David Thomason is a reader of the Sun-Herald, he’ll have a big gold star ready to give to his media agency Universal McCann today.  

On page 4 and 5 of the paper is a piece suggesting that PM Kevin Rudd’s in-air tantrum over his dinner could have been because he was suffering an iron deficiency because of a lack of red meat. And what should appear on the next page but a full page ad for the health benefits of red meat?
