Resolution Digital bags David Jones’ media account

Australian retailer David Jones has appointed Resolution Digital, a full-service digital agency of Omnicom Media Group, as its media buying agency.

Resolution Digital will work with David Jones’ marketing team and play a role in media strategy, planning and performance.

Chief marketing officer of David Jones, James Holloman, said: “David Jones is thrilled to be in partnership with the Resolution Digital team, as we continue to build on the success of our omnichannel strategy.

“We look forward to leveraging the expertise of the team and being at the forefront of media innovation over the coming years.”

Resolution Digital CEO, Des Odell said: “We’re delighted to be embarking on this journey with the David Jones team. Resolution’s values are well aligned with those of David Jones’, and we’re excited for what the future holds for the partnership.”

Last year, Resolution Digital won food delivery company Providoor’s digital media account.

It was also appointed Victoria University’s media agency less than two years ago, but the university’s new CMO David Llewellyn recently looked to take both the media and creative accounts to pitch.
