Scooter appointed to Bupa Agency Village

Integrated brand agency Scooter has been added to the agency village of healthcare provider Bupa following a competitive pitch.

The win sees the Melbourne-based company bolster its standing as a key agency partner for the healthcare organisation’s numerous businesses, such as aged care, dental, health insurance, hearing, and optical.

Scooter CEO Anna Hodgson said: “We are incredibly proud to have the opportunity to further our partnership with Bupa. The new contract extends Scooter’s longstanding relationship with Bupa, which has flourished over the past nine years.

“This is a true testament to our strong client relationships and our ability to offer innovative and impactful creative services that drive results for our clients.”

Bupa Health Services’ general manager of marketing, Alicia Rieniets, said Scooter’s past work with Bupa has helped ignite “a marketing transformation” for its health services businesses.

“We’re excited to extend our partnership with Scooter, whose innovative strategies and retail marketing expertise have helped drive a marketing transformation across the Bupa Health Services businesses,” she said.

“This has greatly assisted with the growth of our Bupa Optical and Bupa Dental businesses.”

Scooter has also strengthened its employee base with new team hires, including associate creative director Olivia Gatt and group account director Matt Strutte.

Both Gatt and Strutte will play key roles in supporting Luke Carson, executive creative director, and Pete Murphy, general manager, in leading the Bupa account.

On the appointment, Hodgson said: “Our growth is a testament to the hard work, talent, and dedication of our team. With a newly appointed and dynamic, talented, and committed team further strengthening our agency offering, we’re really excited to continue delivering engaging, entertaining and effective world-class thinking and creativity for our clients.”
