Seven wins Friday TV with help from Better Homes and Gardens
Seven has won the ratings battle for Friday TV with an overall audience share of 20.9%.
The highest rating program for the channel was Better Homes and Gardens, which saw 564,000 metro viewers tune in.
According to OzTAM’s overnight preliminary metro ratings, Seven News at 6pm was the most watched program for the evening with a metro audience of 807,000. Meanwhile, Nine News attracted an audience of 713,000.
At 6.30pm Seven News/ Today Tonight managed an audience of 766,000, ahead of Nine News at 6.30’s 666,000.
Ten’s highest rating program for Friday TV was The Living Room, which saw 400,000 metro viewers tune in.
Comparatively, the ABC’s best rating program was ABC News which managed an audience of 599,000.
In overall audience share, Nine came behind Seven with a 15.5% main-channel share and beat ABC’s 12.5%, Ten’s 11.8% and SBS’ 5.8% share.
7mate was the most-watched multi-channel with a 4.3% share, helping the Seven Network to an overall win of 31.2%.
Nine was in second place, with a 23.6% share across the network.
The ABC managed a 19.2% network share, while Ten had a network share of 17.4% and SBS had a 8.6% network share.
