Slater and Gordon campaign chases customers who were ripped off by the banks and retail super funds
Australian law firm Slater and Gordon has launched a campaign which seeks to capitalise on the Royal Commission into Misconduct in the Banking, Superannuation and Financial Services Industry, by telling potential clients they may not even realise they’ve been ripped off.
The rallying cry features a series of manufactured news headlines about fee gouging and ‘rip offs’, and how victims have been kept in the dark.
The ad concludes with the suggestion that the law firm can help banking and retail customers get their super back.
The campaign, created by The Shannon Company, is set to run on Facebook.
Ian Forsyth, managing partner at The Shannon Company, said in a statement: “Slater and Gordon have identified that millions of ordinary Australians may have been ripped off by the banks and retail super funds, and the campaign is designed to alert them to how they may be able to get their money back.”
Slater and Gordon is currently involved in a class action against AMP in relation to its financial advice business, and has now indicated the new ‘Get Your Super Back’ campaign will lead to a series of further lass actions agains the likes of AMP and Colonial First State.

I have had a super account with Colonial First State for 10yrs. Their fees have been very high & the interest paid on investments very low.
