Spirit Super backs hardworking Aussies in first creative with Common Ventures

Spirit Super has released a new campaign lauding everyday Australians in a new campaign via independent creative agency Common Ventures.

It is the first spot from Common Ventures since it won the creative account in March 2021.

In the 30 second TVC, a man fixes his car, a mail carrier pushes mail uphill, a dad helps his daughter hang out laundry, and a health professional steps out of a hospital to take a breather. A voiceover punctuates the scenes, saying: “Spirit Super is the industry superfund that backs all hardworking Aussies”.

Leeanne Turner, CEO at Spirit Super, said: “This is our first Spirit Super campaign, so we really want to make it clear who Spirit Super is and what we stand for — and that’s helping hardworking Australians get the most out of their super.”

Turner continued: “We’re in an interesting position for brand awareness. The Spirit Super name is new, but the fund itself — with over 326,000 former MTAA Super and Tasplan members — has a long and proud history of great service and solid returns.”

The campaign launched on 16 May and will appear online, outdoors, and on television.

Branding agency Hulsbosch created the new logo for the company back in March 2021.

Common Ventures recently created a campaign for Bank Australia, also in March this year.
