State of Origin game 2 tackles its way to the top of VOZ

The second State of Origin game between New South Wales vs Queensland on Nine has topped the latest Total TV Top 20 Programs Consolidated 7 Audience VOZ report for television Week 27.

In the report, covering 26 June to 2 July, the entertainment program took the #1 spot with a total of 3.131 million viewers nationally, with BVOD contributing 87% of the audience, with a total BVOD audience of 403,000 nationally. 

The second State of Origin pre-match was in second spot overall, with 1.697 million viewers nationally, while Seven News came in the third spot with a total TV audience of 1.552 million.

For this week, an episode of Have You Been Paying Attention topped non-sport entertainment with a national audience of 1.006 million.

Of the top 20 programs, Nine had 9 programs in the top 20, with Nine News taking 4 spots, The State of Origin coverage for the second game taking 3 spots, the Australian Ninja Warrior launch taking 1 spot, and A Current Affair taking 1 spot.

Seven had 5 spots in the top 20, with 4 spots going to Seven News, and 1 spot to Home & Away.

The ABC had 4 spots in the top 20, 2 spots going to ABC News, 1 spot for Gruen, and 1 spot for a Farewell to Leigh Sales Special. 

Ten had 2 spots in the top 20, 1 spot for MasterChef Australia, and 1 spot for Have You Been Paying Attention, which previously mentioned, topped non-sport entertainment.
