Supersolid makes another hire to support new client wins

Independent creative agency Supersolid has made another hire following a number of new client wins.

Georgina ‘Gigi’ Butterworth joins the agency from Bounce Creative as its new integrated project manager.

She spent two years with Bounce, with previous experience from Adhesive, Sling & Stone, and OPR Agency.

Butterworth has experience across the fintech, FMCG, tourism, hospitality, and B2B technology sectors, having led the implementation of go-to-market strategies, funding announcements, and multi-year integrated campaigns.

Her appointment comes off the back of Supersolid’s shortlist in the Emerging Agency of the Year category at the 2025 Mumbrella Awards.

At Supersolid, she will help deliver its “ROIdeas” proposition across its full client portfolio, which includes Tiktok, Impossible Foods, NRL, ATO, and Coastal Stone Whisky. The agency has also had a “slew of new client wins” yet to be announced.

Butterworth said she was drawn in by the “real energy” at Supersolid. The agency has “fearless creative spirit”, she said.

“Sharp, fast, and ambitious. It’s remarkable to see an agency this young already producing such exciting and outcome-driven work,” she said in a release.

“I’m looking forward to helping supercharge that creativity and scale impact.”

Jonathon Shannon, co-founder and creative director of the agency, described her as a “rare find”.

She gets indie agencies, understands how ideas thrive, and brings a razor-sharp view of what creative thinking can and must deliver for brands,” he said in the release.

“We’ve always said that Supersolid would have just enough process and not a single drop more. With Gigi joining the team, we’re going to supercharge our ability to create and deliver value.”

Supersolid also recently nabbed 72andSunny’s Robbie Wood as its new director of business development.

“The Supersolid team has already built a strong reputation for creative excellence, and their streamlined, no-layers model feels perfectly suited to the demands of today’s market. I already feel really at home, and I’m genuinely excited to be part of their growth,” Wood said in April.
