Ten’s Hughesy, We Have A Problem returns on 29 January

Comedian Dave ‘Hughesy’ Hughes is set to return to television with the second season of ‘Hughesy, We Have A Problem’.

The comedic panel show premiered in January last year with a metro audience of 632,000 and finished off in May with 456,000.

The publicity announcement for the show’s return promised Hughes and his “gaggle of comedian friends” will help everyday Aussies solve everyday problems such as dropping the ball on their New Year’s resolutions, not being able to nail the latest Instagram photo, and housemates not picking up not-so-subtle cleaning hints.

“The first season has taught us to always expect the unexpected as each episode sees Hughesy, and four of the country’s top sidesplittingly funny comedians, untangle the messiness of modern life,” Ten said in the statement. “And with their searingly-honest, eye-wateringly funny and sometimes outrageous humour, we can almost guarantee belly laughter.”

The first show of the season will kick off at 8:30pm on Tuesday, 29 January on Ten, and will feature Celia Pacquola, Tommy Little, Hughes’ co-host on the Hit Network Kate Langbroek, and Sam Simmons.

The network said former Rugby League player come media personality Beau Ryan will also be stopping by, along with co-host of Ten’s Pointless Dr Andrew Rochford.
