Text Pacific Publishing re-brands

Pac Mag’s corporate publishing company Text Pacific Publishing has re-branded as Pacific+.

The announcement:

Monday 4th October 2010 – Text Pacific Publishing has re-launched as Pacific+ in a strategic move that aligns one of Australia’s leading custom and corporate publishers, with its parent company, Pacific Magazines.

All staff have relocated to Media City (Sydney staff) or Seven Broadcast Centre Docklands (Melbourne staff), within the same building premises as Pacific Magazines and the Seven Network, a new logo and comprehensive branding overhaul will rollout from today and the

company will operate with an increased commitment to sharing best practice integration opportunities with Pacific Magazines and other Seven Media Group companies.

Georgina Brujic, Managing Director, Pacific +, comments, “Our new name signals our ties to Pacific Magazines – and the reliability, backing and commercial know-how that this represents – and our evolving position within Australia’s leading integrated media group, the Seven Media Group.

“We’re still boutique in purpose and flexible enough to respond quickly to our clients needs, but more than ever before we’ll be exposing our clients to integrated media strategies, market-leading research and consumer insights, as well as unique distribution channels.”

Founded in 1991 as Text Media and later becoming Text Pacific Publishing, the company publishes more than 35 magazine titles and 20 corporate documents on behalf of clients, including Virgin, Weight Watchers, Lexus and BHP.

Pacific+ will continue to operate as two specialised divisions (Custom + Corporate) that buildbusiness, creative and communications solutions that seek to forge better relationships between organisations and their customers, shareholders and corporate stakeholders. Brujic adds, “Clients will continue to receive the same level of service, quality and commitment they always did, yet with the strategic weight and cost-efficiencies that our increased emphasis within the Seven Media Group can offer.” Nick Chan, CEO, Pacific Magazines, adds, “The alignment between Pacific Magazines and our corporate and custom arm represents an important and relevant next step in the evolution of both businesses.”
