The Company We Keep expands APAC presence with several new hires
After being acquired by Opus Agency earlier this year, experiential marketing agency The Company We Keep has strengthened its local presence with several new hires.
Taking its regional team to 13, the Singapore-based hires span creative, production, digital, and account management. Said to reflect the agency’s commitment to “investing in talent”, they come following new partnerships and expanded remits from clients including Salesforce, UBS, and Redhat.
Carina Ng has joined as a project manager, while Zhang Yating and Keisa Wihardja have joined as project coordinators. The agency has also welcomed two project coordinator interns, Alexis Chiang and Nur Shafiq Bin Januri.

The Company We Keep’s SIngapore team
The Company We Keep first expanded into Singapore in early 2023, led by Victor Darmawan, providing the Australian-founded agency with more localised capabilities. The expansion was, at the time, described as “just the tip of the iceberg” when it came to the agency’s growth since its establishment in 2019.
By 2023, it had grown to over 50 employees across two continents, with further expansion slated for the US. By mid-2024, it said it had welcomed 19 new team members, including some in Singapore to bolster its APAC offering.
“Since launching in Singapore, we’ve seen first-hand how clients are doubling down on experiences to grow their brands across Asia,” Darmawan said in a release announcing the new hires.
“Clients are looking for partners who can move fast, adapt to different markets and bring global best practice to local audiences – and that’s exactly what our expanded team allows us to do.”
Earlier this year, The Company We Keep was acquired by global events and experiential marketing business Opus Agency, part of The Opus Group. The partnership “open[ed] up new opportunities” for both teams and their clients.
Nigel Ruffell, founder and former CEO of the agency (now EVP APAC), said the region has become one of the most “exciting growth” areas.
“Our people-first approach, and the reputation our local team has built in the market, are what drive the strong relationships and creative solutions our clients trust us for,” he said in the release.
“With the global reach of Opus Agency and the wider Opus Group behind us, we’re excited about the opportunities ahead to accelerate our footprint and deliver world-class experiences at greater scale.”
The Company We Keep has also had a number of recent new starters in Sydney, including project managers Antonia Savage, Leanna Brown, and Hayley Frasa, financial accountant Helen Wong, commercial finance lead Jackie Rozali, and project coordinators Lynn Jiang and Dheeraj Hotwani.
