Thinkerbell’s Tall Poppy and more join Cannes Lions nominations

The shortlists for the Lions for Engagement dropped over night, with a number of Australian campaigns receiving nominations.

Ten-minute brand film, ‘Tall Poppy‘, created by Thinkerbell and the Jim Henson Company for CGU was one of those included in the latest shortlists, with Thinkerbell nominated in the Creative B2B category.

Howatson + Company also scored an additional three nominations for its ‘Rejected Ales‘ work for Matilda Bay, having already received two Silver Lions, for Design and Brand Experience & Activation, and a Bronze Lion for Industry Craft.

Recognised again for ‘KFC Degustation‘ under PR, Ogilvy Australia, alongside media agency OMD Sydney also picked up three nominations for ‘AAMI Rest Towns’ across Creative Data and Media categories.

DDB Sydney’s ‘The Ad Break Championship‘ for Volkswagen also swept up several more nominations in the Direct and Media categories after winning a Bronze Lion in Entertainment yesterday.

After winning a Grand Prix for the work overnight, Leo Burnett also picked up another nomination for its One House to Save Many campaign for Suncorp Group, making the PR Lion shortlist.
