Virgin Australia tells Kanye to ‘EAD’
If there’s one person you don’t want to get into a Twitter flame war with right now it’s probably rapper Kanye West, who’s been in the news of late for his controversial tweets.
Which is why Dr Mumbo feels Virgin Australia might not have been in full control of its Twitter account when a tweet was sent telling Mr West “EAD (eat a dick) you douche”.
Twitter immediately started speculating it a was a rogue employee accidentally tweeting from the company account, which has some 210,000 followers. The airline quickly shot that suggestion down:

It seems Virgin has opened the floodgates to brands having fun at Kanye’s expense.
After the squillionaire’s bleatings that he needs more money after financing his clothing range and album, Pizza Hut UK put together a resume for him, bur decided he didn’t reach their standards for a delivery boy:

I wonder if “not published by a Virgin employee” is an evasive way of saying “published by the social team at our agency Eleven PR.”
