Richards Rose has released its campaign for the University of Adelaide after it was appointed to the university’s brand and creative services account in October 2020.
The ‘Make History’ campaign highlights the university’s accomplishments, such as being the first university to admit women.
The 60 second spot lists some of the University of Adelaide’s achievements, such as having several Nobel prize winners and the first female Australian Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, amongst its alumni. The spot also references the COVID-19 pandemic, featuring COVID sniffing Labradors. It ends with the line; “So, what’s next?”.
‘Make History’ is the university’s new brand platform.
Richards Rose CEO, Digby Richards, said: “We are very proud of this work given the vital role that education and research play in society. Higher education is complex and not easy to organise from a brand perspective, but when we worked closely with the University of Adelaide’s Marketing team, we discovered that the University and its students have a tradition of being untraditional on a global scale, and it was this spirit that we wanted to illuminate everywhere.”
TV and content was produced with the great assistance of Collider, White Chocolate and Squeak E Clean. The media strategy and implementation was delivered by the team at Carat.
Richards Rose recently released a campaign for Eftpos.
