Victoria Doidge takes David Jones marketing role
Marketer Victoria Doidge has reemerged at retail giant David Jones five months after leaving the Sydney Opera House, Mumbrella can reveal.
Doidge is GM of marketing – direct marketing at David Jones where her brief will include advertising, catalogues, digital marketing, sponsorships, events and philanthropy.
During her five year tenure at SOH, Doidge led the team that was named Mumbrella’s marketing team of the year. Her tenure saw box office takings rise by 50 per cent and the institution’s digital presence grown significantly. Before Sydney Opera House, Doidge was chief marketing officer of digital marketing group BlueFreeway.
In her new role, Doidge will work alongside Adriane McDermott, GM of marketing – creative services and planning, and Kate Whitney, GM of marketing – financial services.
At the time of posting Doidge could not be reached but according to LinkedIn she has already started in the new role.
