Vid.Id drafts Pamela Papantoniou

Pamela Papantoniou has been appointed to the role of  national sales manager at online video advertising network Vid.Id.  

The announcement:

Online video advertising company vid•id today announced that Pamela Papantoniou has been named National Sales Manager. Papantoniou will manage media agency sales for vid•id’s online video advertising network across Australia and New Zealand. Commercial Director, Spiro Pissas, said, “We are delighted to welcome Pamela into the vid•id team. She is one of the most experienced and respected digital salespeople in Australia and will be a superb resource to help our customers navigate the relatively new field of online video advertsing.”

Papanatoniou joins vid•id from Sensis MediaSmart, where she spent several years, the last four and a half of which were as Group Sales Manager working across many of Australia’s largest digital advertising accounts, including American Express, Hyundai, Tourism Australia, 20th Century Fox, Tourism New Zealand, Pepsi and Yum! Brands.

Papantoniou’s move is also being welcomed by media agencies. Lee Walsh, Digital Director at Ogilvy, said, “We have experienced phenomenal growth in demand for quality video inventory over the past 12 months. It is great to see innovative new players in this space like vid•id securing experienced and talented team members like Pamela Papantoniou.
