Westpac NZ says ‘start asking’ in new ad by DDB

DDB has launched a new campaign for Westpac’s New Zealand operation to encourage kiwis to start questions about their money.

The ad, released to the New Zealand market last night, features historic moments in the country’s history such as the first civil union and Edmund Hillary’s Mount Everest climb.   

The 1.30 second execution is supported by a Facebook app.

The ad comes one month after Westpac launched an ad that mocked its rivals BNZ, ANZ and KiwiBank.

It also follows a TVC by Colenso BBDO Auckland for BNZ that launched last week.
