WIN Network appoints former SCA manager to northern NSW role

The WIN Network has appointed Ashley Myatt to the position of regional sales manager for northern New South Wales.

Myatt joins from Southern Cross Austereo (SCA), where he has held the title of executive general manager of Northern NSW for the past five years, based out of Newcastle.

In the new role, Myatt will work closely to regional sales manager of Queensland, Scott Bennett and regional sales manager for southern NSW, Murray Bower. All northern NSW staff will report directly to Myatt.

Regarding his appointment, Myatt said: “I’m looking forward to leading WIN’s northern NSW sales team. I am joining at an exciting time in television and am keen to develop plans and strategies for clients and working with the sales team to deliver outcomes”.

Chief revenue officer at the WIN network, Rod Jerman said: “He is well known and respected across the market, knows the clients in that area very well and will be a great asset to the WIN sales team”.

“With 27 years of media sales and business management experience, he is nearly a media veteran.
He has had various roles in electronic media with DMG and SCA across regional Australia stretching from Cairns in Far North Queensland to regional Western Australia in addition to northern NSW. I’m glad to be welcoming him to our team.”

Nine Entertainment Co recently signed a new affiliate deal with WIN, ending its five year affiliation agreement with SCA. The return to WIN for at least seven years will see the regional media company pay Nine about half of its regional advertising revenue.

According to SCA, there is no direct replacement for Wyatt, with Central Coast GM, Kristen Budd absorbing the duties.
