The Mumbrella Sports Marketing Awards returned on Thursday evening for the first time since 2019, with Bursty Company, Chisel and Octagon each taking home two awards.
Bursty Company’s ‘Nedd’s Record Run’ took home the award for Best Owned or Social Media and Best Cause-Related Sports Campaign, while Octagon’s ‘Mastercard Sonic Trophy’ campaign won Best Use of Sponsorship in a Single Campaign and Best On-Ground Activation.
Chisel was named the 2023 Sports Agency of the Year while its campaign for Western Sydney Wanderers FC won Best Membership Drive or Fan Engagement Campaign.
Bastion’s ‘Dwayne Bennett’ campaign for Budget Direct took home Sports Campaign of the Year, as well as the highly commended for Best Team or Sport Sponsorship.
