Wynstan with a Y launches summer campaign via Paper Moose

Wynstan with a Y has launched its second TVC, showing Australians a few effective ways to keep their home cool as they gear up for the festive season, via Paper Moose.

The new work follows eponymous character Mr Wynstan in his second stint on TV, following the brand’s birthday suit spot in March this year. Previously, Mr Wynstan has been a familiar character of Australian radio for years.

The campaign takes viewers inside Mr Wynstan’s home as he prepares to receive his family – who all happen to be sub-sensitive – for Christmas lunch on the patio. Throughout the spot, Wynstan’s range of products are featured, depicting how the retailer can deliver respite and keep homes cool in the Aussie sun.

Pete Saladino, senior creative at Paper Moose, said: “We wanted to show that it pays to be the host with the most and ensure the family is cool and comfortable in the summer heat.”

A stalwart of Australian radio for decades, this is the second live action campaign by Paper Moose for Wynstan in as many years.

“You can’t pick up a made-to-measure Wynstan product on Christmas eve. So we like to encourage our customers to get in early, ensuring they can leave a lasting impression on their guests… and not a touch of crimson!”

The new campaign is live now on free-to-air TV, BVOD and online.
