Defeat cancer by eating protein balls, urges Youfoodz in research fundraiser

Women eat protein snacks to defeat cancer in a new advertising campaign from meal delivery service Youfoodz aimed at raising $1m for research.

Youfoodz has partnered with the Prostate Cancer Foundation and the National Breast Cancer Foundation to sell one million protein balls for cancer research with the ‘It Takes Ballz’ campaign. .

The delivery service has created three 15 second spots featuring an inflatable figure with the word ‘cancer’ written across it.

Each spot shows ‘cancer’ interrupting people in their everyday lives. The spots conclude with large protein balls knocking ‘cancer’ out.

The ads have all been created by Youfoodz’s internal creative team.

Last year Youfoodz had one of its television ads banned for featuring a boy imitating fiery TV chef Gordon Ramsay.

The ad, which included the little boy describing the meal as “unforkin-believable” is the 8th most complained about in 20 years and managed 307 complaints to Ad Standards.
