After the twebsite, the pebsite
It is a well known fact the the comments on Mumbrella are often better than the stuff Dr Mumbo and his colleagues write.
But rarely has that been better exemplified than this example in response to our story that agency BCM is temporarily placing its website on Twitter, which it described as a “twebsite”:
“I am using a pebble I found on the street instead of a website. I am calling it a pebsite, it’s a world first.
Instead of having it connected to the interwebs, I am going to write tweets on it with chalk.
If a client wants to look at it, I can post it to them.
Does anyone have any other enhancements they can think of. I don’t need a mobile now either as my pebsite fits in my pocket.
I also need someone to write a press release for it.”
Utter gold…
This marks the dawn of a new age of peb-based media. I’m going get started on the peb release.

I can foresee a news article in a few months time:
Pebsite has rocky start, but is now skipping along smoothly.

…next will come fragmentation, but Gravelsite doesn’t quite have the same ring to it does it?
