All about the facts in Sunday night’s TV

Factual programming was the winner in Sunday’s ratings with news, current affairs and documentaries among the five most watched TV shows of the night.

Seven’s Sunday Night was the most watched show with 1.304m metro viewers, according to overnight ratings from OzTam.

Next was Nine’s 60 Minutes with 1.26m viewers.  

Then came Seven News with 1.183m.

Wildlife doco Frozen Planet rated 1.003m for Nine, while Nine News rated 998,000.

Seven’s Wild Boys rated sixth for the night with 896,000 viewers.

Ten’s best performer was Junior Masterchef with 856,000.

Ten’s coverage of The Australian Open golf averaged 491,000 during the day.

Meanwhile, Nine’s digital channel Go had a great result, delivering a share of 8.7%.
