Apologising long time
Yesterday’s out of control email chain from AMP Capital Investors appears to have claimed another victim.
Amidst the general merriment over the misdirected, jargon-packed email, a Singapore based Chinese journalist complained:

Which triggered this response from The Australian’s wealth editor Geoffrey Newman:

However, this was followed three and a half hours later by:

Earlier today, in an email exchange between the members of Shane Oliver’s media email list, I made a comment that was entirely inappropriate and out of character. I unreservedly apologise for that remark. The comment in no way reflects my views or the views of The Australian.

Belinda, you must be one of those cork-wearing Sheilas, driving utes full of eskies and shrimp-laden barbies, so inured are you against racial stereotyping. There is a diference between racial insults and “politically correct behaviour ruining everyone else’s fun”.
If you can’t see the problem with Geoff’s original response means you must be head of your office’s race relations group?
