Commonwealth Bank appoints Luke Schepen as head of corporate communications
Commonwealth Bank has appointed Luke Schepen as its head of corporate communications.
Schepen was previously the head of communications and corporate affairs at waste management company SUEZ.
Schepen joins CommBank from SUEZ
Prior to his four year stint at SUEZ, Schepen was the manager of government and community at Woolworths for a year.
During his career, the communications professional also held positions at Edelman, PPR and AMA Queensland.
Schepen’s appointment comes after a raft of hires for Commonwealth Bank including Danny John, who was hired as the bank’s head of group public affairs and communications in February, and Rebecca Piercy, who joined Commonwealth Bank as its executive manager of public affairs and comms, institutional and business banking.
Schepen and Commonwealth Bank have been approached for comment.
