Danny Bass confirmed as Dentsu Media boss
Dentsu International has confirmed the appointment of Danny Bass as its new Dentsu Media CEO in Australia and New Zealand, leading its three brands, Carat, iProspect, and DentsuX.
Bass left Snap this year after nine months, telling media he was stepping away to focus on his Berry Hill retreat. Bass previously led IPG Mediabrands locally, as well as holding the chief investment officer role at GroupM, and helping News Corp establish its digital presence in Australia. He replaces Sue Squillace, who was revealed to be leaving the group last month.

May the boys club live on!
Is there a management class they teach at Dentsu that teaches their exec team to spew a whole lot of jargon that says nothing about what the network offers to clients?

Horizontal Creativity? Have I missed something? Is she lying down?
‘horizontal creativity’… we voted the slogan bogan out last election – can we rid ourselves of these rubbish terms?
