Digital agency SCT expands team

Melbourne digital agency SCT has appointed three new staff members to its team and is searching to fill three more positions.

Melbourne based, creative digital services agency SCT (Square Circle Triangle) has welcomed three new staff to its team and is looking to fill three more positions, as it expands into the e-commerce and mobile technologies space. SCT are currently looking to hire a Digital Account Manager, a web designer and a Ruby on Rails developer.

Sebastian Porto, SCT’s new front-end/back-end developer, brings significant experience in both front and back-end web development, currently focusing on Javascript and Ruby.

Eva Goyena, SEO and SEM social media guru, holds a degree in Mass Communications and is a certified Advanced Search Engine Professional by the leading SEO professional organisation SEMPO. She has five years experience with search and over a decade in online marketing communications.

Erin Campbell, Studio Manager and communications expert; has been working in social media and online marketing for the past year at the Yarra Valley and Dandenongs Regional Marketing Department. She has come on board to oversee PR and social media operations at SCT.

SCT Managing Director, Paul Wilson says, “We’re growing our team in response to an increased need for specialist, creative services for mobile devices and mobile commerce. We’re also preparing to cater for Near Field Communications, or the ‘digital Wallet’ as it’s being termed. This enables your smart phone to send or receive encrypted information over very short distances e.g. to pay for a purchase, or to store information from a digital billboard.

“Near Field Communications is about to become a very hot topic with the expected release of the iPhone 5 and we are currently building prototypes with our customers.

“Our expanded team means we can maximise opportunities for our customers in delivery of multi-channel marketing”.

SCT recently launched a new online e-commerce platform for Endota Spa (www.endotaspa.com.au), one of Australia leaders in the Australian Spa market. The new platform aims to increase visibility, enhance customer experience, drive online sales and maximise marketing opportunities.

SCT statistics show that since the launch of the new Endota website, Endota has enjoyed the success of a 26% increase of traffic from Google, due to the sites increased search engine visibility.

SCT has also recently launched a new interactive map for the Mirvac Real-estate Group called Home Finder (www.parkbridge.com.au/homefinder); the mobile-based technology assists would-be buyers to navigate through a range of Mirvacs latest estates to find their dream home and land.

SCT branding for the 2010 Fashion Exposed event was extremely successful. SCT created an engaging space for the Council of Textiles and Fashion industries TFIA exhibit and utilised a combination of new technologies to engage visitors. This included an iPad Kiosk for info and a prize giveaway [of the iPad] to encourage sign-ups and Mobile sites to enable TFIA staff to sign up people directly though their iPhones and Blackberries.
