Every NFL game now available in Australia through Amazon Prime Video
Every NFL match will soon be available to stream through Amazon’s Prime Video in Australia, as NFL Game Pass becomes part of the streaming service’s add-on subscription offerings.
The service launches this week through Prime Video, after Amazon struck a deal with direct-to-consumer sports streamer DAZN, who hold the global Game Pass rights for ten years. The deal enables Australian NFL fans to follow every match, through the regular season, post-season, and the main event – the Super Bowl.
“Our goal is to make Prime Video the number one destination for sports fans to watch the biggest live sports events, through the Prime membership, partner subscriptions and pay-per-view,” said Jay Marine, global head of sports at Prime Video.
ESPN have most of the NFL. Netflix will have two games the entire season. Maybe do some research before the next article.
They’re having a laugh with the pricing. $49.95 a month…to watch one sport? That’s too rich for even the fanatics. Opportunity missed by Amazon. Halve that price and you might get some interest.
Not every game, and not RedZone. DANZ had NFL Game Pass last year and was absolutely horrendous. This is a major coup for Prime. Their app works, streams well and is well priced. Amazing outcome for NFL fans.
NFL is on Fox Sports / Kayo and has been for years.
Thank God, DAZN was/is awful.
Via DAZN NFL GP
Well the biggest news here is not having to stream via DAZN which was about appalling an app experience as you could get. At least Prime streams well
I just saw the price for the NFL Game Pass on Prime. Pass.
