Every NFL game now available in Australia through Amazon Prime Video

Every NFL match will soon be available to stream through Amazon’s Prime Video in Australia, as NFL Game Pass becomes part of the streaming service’s add-on subscription offerings.

The service launches this week through Prime Video, after Amazon struck a deal with direct-to-consumer sports streamer DAZN, who hold the global Game Pass rights for ten years. The deal enables Australian NFL fans to follow every match, through the regular season, post-season, and the main event – the Super Bowl.

“Our goal is to make Prime Video the number one destination for sports fans to watch the biggest live sports events, through the Prime membership, partner subscriptions and pay-per-view,” said Jay Marine, global head of sports at Prime Video.

“Adding the NFL Game Pass subscription is another step towards that goal.”

Despite this deal, the NFL will still be available through a number of other outlets.

ESPN’s NFL package offers a minimum six games per week, and NFL RedZone, plus all NFL Playoff games, and the Super Bowl, and is available via Foxtel, Kayo Sports, and Fetch.

Netflix announced earlier this year they will broadcast the NFL’s two popular Christmas Day games this year, and will be streaming at least one holiday game a year in 2025 and 2026, while Seven, who currently hold the Australian digital and free-to-air rights for the league.

Seven told Mumbrella earlier this year that there will be no changes to the upcoming season, which kicks off in September, despite the Netflix deal.
