EXCLUSIVE: In Marketing We Trust nabs former Overdose MD

Former managing director of Overdose Digital and founder of Relearn Digital, Martin Carlill, has joined indie agency In Marketing We Trust to lead its paid media division, Mumbrella can exclusively reveal.

He will be responsible for leading the agency’s paid media strategy, support its growth and increase strategy execution for clients.

CEO of In Marketing We Trust, Paul Hewett, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Martin Carlill to the team at In Marketing We Trust.

“With a couple of decades of digital experience working for notable brands and agencies such as Starcom MediaVest Group and Aegis Media, Martin is adding even greater strength and capability to our incredible paid media team.”

While Carlill has been busy teaching digital marketing at RMIT Online, Social Media College, and running Relearn Digital, a digital marketing course built for SME business owners, he said the new opportunity was “just too good”.

“Though it’s been a short time the team is just so amazing, dedicated, and smart with genuine care for each other and their clients. There are too many to mention but the culture has been built and driven by the legends Frederic Chanut, Selina Gough, and Paul Hewett.

“So pumped to be here with these guys and looking forward to smashing some goals along the way,” he concluded.
