Fitch Greater China chairman and PepsiCo consumer insights expert to speak at Mumbrella Retail Marketing Summit

Jonathan Cummings, chairman of Fitch Greater China, will be speaking at the upcoming Mumbrella Retail Marketing Summit about taking a data-driven approach to designing the in-store experience.

Hong Kong-based Cummings will draw on successful examples from key markets to help retailers look to an omni-channel future with optimism.

Fitch, a leading retail and brand consultancy, has 15 studios in nine cities including New York, Moscow, Delhi, Beijing, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Felecia White will explain why Australia leads the way in ideas and innovation around snacking

Joining Cummings in speaking is PepsiCo ANZ head of consumer insights and strategy, Felecia White.

She’ll argue that Australia is a window into the future of consumer snacking habits, with the average Australian snacking two to three times each day, making it an ideas hub for this major consumer goods category.

White will illustrate why we are well placed to be a source of innovation, not just for snacks, but for many products, and explain how demand generation is the foundation for driving category growth.

GalKal’s Pippa Dalco will shed light on major cultural trends affecting today’s shoppers

GalKal director of strategy and innovation, Pippa Dalco, will also appear to discuss the major cultural trends that are influencing today’s shoppers.

From the movement towards sustainable humanity to the empathetic economy and also the tech empowered, there are a number of overarching cultural narratives impacting today’s consumers.

Dalco will explain the importance of understanding how changing shopper demographics, profiles and needs are impacting and reshaping the retail environment and what the industry has to do to get on top of it.

CX Agency Lavender and UTS Business School will also present individual sessions. Linda O’Grady, data strategy partner at CX Agency Lavender will challenge CX assumptions and explore how to future-proof digital CX, while Dr Sonika Singh, researcher and lecturer in the Marketing Discipline Group at UTS Business School, will share findings from her study on mobile use and the path to purchase.
