Christie’s remit includes building Social@Ogilvy’s capabilities in social and digital, driving strategic social media planning and execution, and developing best-in-class content production and publishing capabilities. He is also responsible for overseeing all Microsoft strategy and campaigns.

Kieran Moore, CEO Ogilvy PR, said: “Adrian is truly passionate about the opportunities and challenges facing the PR industry and how the discipline earns attention for its clients through effective and creative campaigns.

“He’s the perfect candidate to drive this growing and important part of our business, and take on the key role of managing our long-term client, Microsoft.

“Adrian has deep experience helping technology led brands engage their audiences through integrated marketing communications programs, and we’re delighted to have him on board.”

Commenting on his new role, Christie said: “Microsoft is a long-term, important client of Ogilvy’s and this is a fantastic opportunity to work with a brand that is constantly reinventing and pushing itself to redefine communications in driving business success.

“Traditional PR activities map extremely well to digital marketing activities, and I am excited to work with the agency’s well established and talented Social@Ogilvy team to ensure we continue to earn influence and ultimate business impact for our clients across the group.”
