Frank PR wins Bethesda Softworks account

Frank PR has won the account for American video game publisher Bethesda Softworks, Mumbrella can reveal.

The appointment will see Frank PR handle the publisher’s reviews, media relations, activations and influencer engagement.

Bethesda Softworks has titles including The Elder Scrolls, Fallout, DOOM, QUAKE, Wolfenstein, Dishonored, The Evil Within, Prey and RAGE.

Simon Alty, managing director of Bethesda Softworks Australia and New Zealand, said in a statement: “Frank showed an unparalleled understanding for our titles and our consumers, they totally got our future vision for Bethesda; big, creative, with just the right amount of trouble making.

“We’re looking forward to working together and collectively smashing the gaming PR mould.”

The client win follows the appointment of a new joint managing director, Laura Jones, who joined the agency in January.

Jones added: “With so many established franchises, Bethesda is already well known and well-loved with gamers. Our job is to take them beyond where they are – making them famous for creative stunts and activations that not only surprise and excite gamers but create talk-ability amongst the rest of us too.”

Last month, Frank PR won the accounts for Doughnut Time and Huxtaburger.

Frank PR’s clients include 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, Deliveroo, Royal Caribbean, TFE Hotels and Fiji Airways.
