Gareth Cooper exits Cummins & Partners for new strategy role at ARN
Cummins & Partners has lost its Sydney-based executive strategy director, Gareth Cooper, who is moving to Australian Radio Network as national strategy director.
Cooper joined Cummins & Partners Sydney in May last year, after his previous role as executive planning director at Host.
Earlier this year, Cummins & Partners lost its global chief strategy director Adam Ferrier, and joint ECDs Jim Ingram and Ben Couzens. The trio departed Cummins & Partners to launch their own agency in Melbourne, Thinkerbell.
ARN’s main brands are Kiis, Pure Gold, The Edge and iHeart Radio.
Emma-Jayne Owens, chief commercial officer at ARN, said in a statement: “With such an extensive background in strategic planning across media and creative agencies, [Garteth is] perfectly suited to help grow ARN’s strategic insight capability delivering best in market solutions for our clients.”
Cooper said: “I’m delighted to be joining ARN at such an exciting time for the business and broader industry. I look forward to working with the leadership team across the business to further drive the strategic proposition for ARN.”
