Gen Y specialist hires Duncan Byrne as creative director
Melbourne-based Gen Y specialist creative agency One Meaning Communicated Differently – or One for short – has hired Duncan Byrne as creative director.
The 25 year-old joins after a stint at DDB, where he spent the last year working on experiential campaigns for the likes of Telstra, VW and McDonald’s.
Prior to this, Byrne had a spell at Scorpio Music where he worked with artists such as Lisa Mitchell, Amy Meredith and Evermore.
One year-old One, which has just revamped its website, counts Aussie rock band Icehouse and skateboarder Corbin Harris as key clients.
One was set up by 27 year-old Jai Al-Attas, who ventured into advertising after a career in the music industry. Al-Attas started his own record label at the age of 16.
