Government News website relaunches

Intermedia Group owned Government News has relaunched with a rebrand of the online publication that covers local, state and federal government issues.

“We’re delighted to unveil the latest iteration of this veteran publication – a redesigned, contemporary platform that vividly displays our journalism and commentary,” said Darragh O’Keeffe, editor of Government News.

“The new site also brings together some of the new initiatives we’ve launched in recent months, such as our regular Spotlight feature, where we profile an innovative local government and their responses to key challenges. We’re also showcasing our expanding stable of contributors, which now includes well-known commentator Jonathan Dutton who is writing a monthly column looking at procurement in government.”

Mark Kuban, publisher of Government News, said that for the past four months Intermedia’s editorial and online teams have been collaborating to determine the best ways of presenting the publication’s mix of news and long-form features and analysis.

“In addition to showcasing the publication’s quality original journalism, the new site carries a range of innovative features such as our recently-launched Operational Report, where sponsors can align with independent coverage of a key service delivery issue for governments,” Mr Kuban said.
