Haystac unveils new national leadership team

BWM Dentsu Group’s PR arm Haystac has a new national leadership restructure.

The restructure comes nearly two months after Haystac’s national general manager Jason Carnew departed to take on a new role as Fuel Communications’ MD.

The new leadership team will see Brisbane GM Haylie Marchant promoted to national head of strategy.

Meanwhile, Kate Ward will replace Marchant as Brisbane GM. Ward was previously acting head of Haystac Brisbane.

Nicole Hamilton, who was previously head of PR at Haystac Melbourne, will now become Haystac Melbourne’s general manager.

The new leadership team aims to develop an integrated creative, social, PR and content offering while working closely with BWM Dentsu.

Carnew’s national GM role has not yet been replaced at Haystac.

Tim Powell, MD at BWM Dentsu Public Relations Group, said in a statement to Mumbrella: “It gives me a sense of real pride to know that we have been able to create career opportunities for our senior staff and accommodate the growth of the next generation of leaders in Haystac.

“Continuity of the senior team and a shared vision for what PR should be achieving for brands has driven Haystac’s growth and blue chip client list over the past two years.”
