Last tickets remaining for debate on whether Australia’s commercial creativity is falling behind the rest of the world
There are a few tickets available for a debate this Thursday in which four top practitioners will be arguing over whether Australia is slipping behind the rest of the world in terms of commercial creativity.
As hundreds of Australians prepare to head off to the south of France for the Cannes Lions next week questions have been raised over whether much of Australia’s work is stacking up to that of the rest of the world.
The event is being hosted by the Outdoor Media Association as it launches its Open3 book, celebrating the best creativity in out of home media from Australia, the UK, USA and Canada.
Arguing that we are falling behind are one of Australia’s most awarded marketers, Andrew Howie, group marketing manager, Meat & Livestock Australia and Carmen Bekker, who has recently returned to Australia after nearly 20 years in London, where she was a partner at JWT.
And making the case that Australia is still a leading hub of commercial creativity is Lauren Fried, head of the Pulse Collective, and With Collective creative director Simon Fowler.
