Mindshare appoints Luke Simpson as client leader for NAB business

Mindshare has appointed Luke Simpson as client leader across the agency’s NAB account.

Simpson will commence his role as client leader for the NAB business effective immediately

The new appointment comes following the departure of Paul Murphy, who joined Carlton & United Breweries as national media manager in October 2016.

Simpson joins from Initiative, where he worked with clients including ME Bank and Industry Superfunds.

Prior to his time at Initiative, Simpson worked across Australia and Singapore on clients including Reckitt Benckiser, Simplot and P&G.

Simpson said he hopes to lead the team in pushing “boundaries in innovation and technology” and “drive best in-class media strategies”.

“I am very excited to join Mindshare in Melbourne, the business had a great end to 2016 and I look forward to help continue that positive growth and momentum in 2017.”

Katie Rigg-Smith, CEO of Mindshare Australia said she admired Luke’s ability to “drive real thought leadership” for his clients and team.

“Luke is someone I have known for a very long time, since his days of being in Group M Towers in North Sydney,” Rigg-Smith said.

“I am really thrilled to have him join our Melbourne office and lead our NAB client relationship.”

Simpson’s appointment commences immediately.
