Mumbrellacast: Aimee Buchanan takes the hot seat at GroupM, so who’ll replace her at OMD?

WPP has confirmed that OMD Australia CEO, Aimee Buchanan, will be taking on the role of GroupM CEO, after the role was vacated by Mark Lollback who left the business in March after five years at the helm. The supermarket wars are heating up again, as Woolworths and Coles take their tussle to more environmentally friendly battlegrounds. Both companies released new brand campaigns over the past week, each with a strong sustainability focus, as Woolies pushed its green messaging and future thinking, as Coles looked back at the past in its new ‘Together to Zero’ positioning. Week one of the Seven Network’s Tokyo 2020 Olympics coverage has come to an end, and so far the event has been a huge ratings success, with Seven cracking the 50% network share mark on Wednesday for the first time since 2020’s AFL Grand Final.
