Naked Flame Productions launches in Sydney
Launching off the success of in-house production Lyndey and Blair’s Taste of Greece, broadcast on SBS and sold to UKTV, XYZ Networks Lifestyle Food Channel and The Living Channel, Naked Flame Productions has set up shop in Artarmon, Sydney.
The team behind Naked Flame Productions include creative director and host of Taste of Greece Lyndey Milan, chairman John Caldon, formerly of Macquarie Bank, and Fiona Gilroy heading up the sales and acquisitions arm of the business, previously content sales manager at SBS Television.
While they aim to exploit the rights of their own content and acquire factual programming from both Australia and internationally, a key selling point comes from their Sydney Studio Kitchen, designed to shoot culinary content for film and TV.
In a statement Lyndey Milan said, “My years in television have provided intimate knowledge of creative and production processes as well as wide-spread media relationships. Being involved from creative concept to finished product is very exciting; and further enhanced by the complete follow-through and ensuring what we produce is seen by an international audience.”
