
New Linkd Tourism marketing director revealed

Linkd Tourism has welcomed Emma Prineas as its new PR and marketing director, following the departure of Ben Urquhart.
She announced her new role via Linkedin, saying she is “absolutely pumped” to join the team.
“This dream team of talented and authentic humans is on a mammoth growth trajectory, and I am uber grateful to be welcomed aboard by the powerhouse that is Kylee Kay,” she wrote.
Prineas has over 20 years experience in marketing and PR, across tourism, community, and education sectors. She has held senior roles at Regional Express, Sandals Resorts, Wendy Wu Tours, AAT Kings, and most recently, Navitas Skilled Futures.
In a statement, managing director Kylee Kay, said: ““Emma’s appointment comes at an exciting time for Linkd Tourism as we continue to build momentum with new client wins and industry recognition.
“Her expertise in travel PR and marketing will be instrumental in driving our vision for the year ahead. She’s also a great fit for us culturally, which is exciting.”
Prineas replaces Ben Urquhart, who announced his exit this week after three years with the travel PR and marketing representation firm.
“The whole time being able to work with an amazing mix of destinations from across the globe – from Japanese prefectures to USA states plus many projects with the wonderful team at the Hong Kong Tourism Board.
“The variety kept things interesting: broadcast campaigns, celebrity partnerships, consumer events, brand collaborations, and honestly, too many content partnerships to count. Each project was a reminder that great results-driven marketing happens when you match authentic stories with solid strategy & insights with a smart, quick-witted team,” he wrote.
The agency has also welcomed other new hires including director of brand and growth Phil Haines, general manager Danielle Roberts and account managers Louise Terry, Dylan Hearne and Melissa Roberts.
Linkd Tourism’s client roster include Alamo Rent A Car, Arizona Office of Tourism, Aqua-Aston Hotels and Resorts, Colorado Tourism Office, The Great American West, Hong Kong Tourism Board, New York State, JNTO, Port of Seattle, State of Washington Tourism, Visit Seattle, as well as the Island of Kyushu.
More recently, it welcomed Okinawa Convention and Visitors Bureau (OCVB) as a client. It was also recently shortlisted in two categories at the Mumbrella Travel Marketing Awards.
