Nine wins the day, while ‘shit’ Cougar Town sees ratings dip

Nine and its digital channel Go took the ratings lead on Thursday, while Seven’s new US show Cougar Town suffered a dip in only its second episode.

In other results Nine’s breakfast show Today and afternoon quiz show Hot Seat for the third time this week beat its Seven rivals, Sunrise and Deal or No Deal respectively.

Cougar Town, the show now famously referred to by Seven boss David Leckie as “shit” attracted almost 1.1 million viewers, according to preliminary overnight OzTam data.
