Polkadot Communications announces new client Foreo amongst business wins

Polkadot Communications has announced four business wins across its food, beauty and health portfolios.

Joining the agency’s roster is international beauty tech company, Foreo, which has appointed Polkadot after seeking out a public relations agency.

General manager, Stuart Johnson, said he clicked with Polkadot right away.

“We are delighted to be working with Dionne and the team at Polkadot. We met with some incredible agencies in our search for representation, but when Polkadot presented to us it was clear there was an amazing understanding of our brand and an exciting plan for the future,” he said.

“We believe there is such synergy between Foreo and Polkadot that they are not an agency but a seamless extension of our business. They are not afraid to challenge us to get the best outcomes and there is already incredible trust in the relationship. We are incredibly excited to see where this takes us.”

Polkadot Communications’ Dionne Taylor

Polkadot founder, Dionne Taylor, acknowledged that, despite the agency’s growth, it has faced some setbacks.

“What a way to close out an unpredictable year,” she said.

“Whilst we have certainly seen some setbacks in our travel client portfolio, we have added some really exciting new brands to our agency this year; each with their own story and challenges, we look forward to a long-term relationship with them beyond 2020. The diverse mix of clients further reiterates that as an agency, we are dynamic and adaptive to multiple markets.”

In the food portfolio, Polkadot has been engaged by Nomo Chocolate and restaurant chain, Rashays. Rashays was most recently recognised for entering the stoush between McDonald’s and Hungry Jack’s, launching its own Big MacJac. Last week, McDonald’s issued the local chain with a cease and desist order.

Nomo first appointed Polkadot Communications in March to work on a project for the Easter period.

Finally, air detoxification device, V Breathe, has appointed Polkadot to its communications, following an increase in demand as awareness of airborne diseases has grown since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

This year, Polkadot Communications has also won online travel agency Trip.com, seafood home delivery service Get Fish, and food and essentials delivery app Dash Delivers.
