Ryvalmedia wins new clients in Brisbane, prompting hire of local digital talent

Ryvalmedia Brisbane has reported nine new business wins since launching into the Queensland market in July, following the acquisition and rebrand of Power Media Plus.

The wins are valued at $7 million in total, according to the agency, and include Nomad Coffee Group, RDO Equipment, Norman Australia, and CR Mining, indicating “a buoyant Brisbane market” and also diversifying the agency’s portfolio of clients.

The agency said the growth has resulted in the hires of Milan Narayan as new digital director, joining from Tiny in Brisbane, where he was senior digital marketing specialist.

Brisbane managing partners, Mark Power and Kris Yule

Power Media Plus was acquired by Ryancap in June, with managing partners Mark Power and Kris Yule staying on at Ryvalmedia, to lead the Brisbane operations.

Mark Power said: “We are seeing opportunity with clients who need a digital-first approach to their marketing, combined with extensive experience to guide them to execute full-funnel, holistic campaigns”

Kris Yule also said: “Clients have responded well to our unique mix of digital expertise and business experience.”

Ryvalmedia said that it expects the Brisbane market to “continue to be buoyant for the next decade, driven by the 2032 Olympic Games”, with investment to grow in the area “in preparation for the world’s premier sporting event”.

Ryvalmedia is led by Joseph Pardillo, who was appointed as managing director in July last year, soon after it was launched as the first agency under the RyanCap group name. Pardillo moved across from Carat, where he was managing director of the agency in Melbourne, also working under Simon Ryan during his time at Dentsu Aegis Network and Carat.

The agency won the full media remit for MyDeal in October, an expansion on its appointment as performance media agency in July this year.

This was followed by MyDeal launching a new campaign, the first with Ryvalmedia as its full-service media agency. The remit includes all media, non-digital and digital, performance and digital strategy through data and tech.

Ryancap CEO Simon Ryan joined the Mumbrellacast last month to discuss Ryvalmedia, as well as Foxcatcher and Tightrope and the future plans his indie holdco.
