Speed named lead media agency for skincare brand Palmer’s

Skincare brand Palmer’s has appointed independent media agency Speed as its media agency of record, effective immediately.

Speed will handle all of Palmer’s media planning and buying. The brand is moving its account from Tug, which it appointed in February 2018. Wavemaker held the account prior to that.

Founder Ian Perrin said the appointment was a perfect match for both Speed and Palmer’s.

“As soon as we met the guys from Palmer’s, we knew right away they would be a perfect partner. Passionate, smart and wonderfully direct. So we can’t wait to help them unlock growth across their multi-category portfolio,” he said.

Palmer’s added that it has ambitious plans for growth and Speed will facilitate that.

“We have ambitious plans for our business, so we’re looking for an agency with the strategic smarts to really understand how these could be realised,” the company said in a statement.

“We were impressed with how quickly and collaboratively Speed worked in drafting solutions for us and can’t wait to see the results.”

Palmer’s, launched by ET Browne, is a leader in natural-based beauty productions, including its iconic Cocoa Butter, Coconut Oil and Stretch Mark ranges.

Just last week, Perrin announced that Spark Foundry’s Duncan Parfitt would be coming on board as a partner at Speed. The agency also manages the media for Japan Airlines, QIC, Paspaley, Futura, MCoBeauty and Dry July.
