Starcom national head of trading Andrew Taylor to depart
Starcom Australia’s national head of trading Andrew Taylor is leaving the business after just over two years.
The tightly-worded statement announcing his departure did not provide any details on where Taylor was headed or why he was leaving the agency, nor did it provide details on Taylor’s replacement.
Instead the statement said Publicis Media’s group investment practice, Publicis Media Exchange, which manages the group’s investment and trading decisions with the media, “will continue to work with Starcom’s investment function while the agency looks at what is required moving forward”.
Commenting on the change, Starcom Australia CEO Toby Barbour said: “PMX has been established as a practice within the Publicis Media group to deliver quality-assured client outcomes and will collaborate with Starcom while we look at a restructure and decide on our future needs. We would like to thank Andrew for his time with Starcom and wish him all the best for the future as he seeks new opportunities.”
Publicis Media declined to comment on the reasons for Taylor’s departure.
