The Inspired Unemployed’s Better Beer rolls out low sugar cider with new campaign
Better Beer has rolled out a new campaign to mark its launch into the cider market.
Developed by the brand’s in-house marketing team, the star advertisement focuses on Better Beer’s co-founders – The Inspired Unemployed’s Matt Ford and Jack Steele – living in a world where people’s long-time diet of “high-sugar-content-ciders” have resulted in them bearing furry teeth.
That is, until Ford rendezvous with his friends at a pub and shows them his regular, clean teeth – a trait bestowed upon him “discovering the new low sugar Better Cider”.
The campaign was filmed by Makker Studio in Sydney, who also worked with the brand on other campaigns for Zero Alc and Ginger Beer products.
“It’s a satirical ad, poking fun at sugary ciders that leave you with that furry teeth feeling you get when you drink too much sugar,” said Better Beer co-founder and chief executive officer, Nick Cogger.
“There’s a tonne of full sugar ciders in the market, so we saw it as a great opportunity to release a low sugar alternative to complement the rest of our range of award-winning beers.”
Better Cider is exclusively available in-store and online from BWS and Dan Murphy’s now.
