Thrive PR wins electronic company ASUS

Public Relations agency Thrive PR has added electronic company, Asus, to its client roster.

As part of the appointment, Thrive PR will be responsible for helping the brand grow across Australia and New Zealand markets.

Thrive PR will oversee ASUS’ full public relations offering, including media and influencer strategy, and integrated communications.

The agency will also be responsible for leading PR across the lifestyle and technological arms of the business, developing strategies for items such as gaming PCs and laptops.

Portia Chang, regional director of ASUS Australia and New Zealand said Thrive PR was the “right choice” to support the brand’s key objectives and growth.

“We believe Thrive is the right choice to support our key objectives, including our goals of growing ASUS’ PC consumer business in the premium notebook segment, driving commercial success for our extensive product range, and maintaining our leading position as Australia’s number one gaming brand and top three brand in ultra-slim form factor,” Chang said.

“The team demonstrated creative and strategic thinking across the corporate tech space and the consumer lifestyle space, both of which are imperative to the growth of the ASUS brand.”

Leilani Abels, managing director at Thrive added: “We’re extremely excited that ASUS, a company we have long admired for its world class innovation and design, is joining our dynamic portfolio.

“Thrive’s sector experience, genuine passion and formidable relationships with media and influencers across both Australia and New Zealand means we are well placed to deliver high-impact, forward-thinking PR results for ASUS across ANZ.”

Thrive PR will direct activity for ASUS across both its Sydney and Auckland offices.
