Tonightly goes to war with Gruen
One of Dr Mumbo’s favourite pastimes is reading passive aggressive memos plastered in and around office kitchens.
So you can imagine his delight when two of the ABC’s most headline-grabbing shows went to war over an audience sign.
Perhaps another indication of the ABC’s Budget cuts, it all kicked off when high-rating Gruen utilised the audience sign for much-lower-rating (but slightly more controversial) Tonightly to direct revellers to the studio entrance.
Dan Illic, Tonightly’s newly appointed executive producer, then decided to fight back.
